DJ ToneXpress - Create ringtones and upload them to your mobile phone
Mobile phones are becoming more and more similar to PCs. You can change their desktops, ringtones, associate certain events with different sounds and so on. DJ ToneXpress will boost your ability to customize your phone. You can use it to create ringtones, wallpapers and others much faster and send them to your phone immediately via USB cable or Bluetooth.
All you need is a way to connect a mobile phone to your PC. The software does not require too many resources and it can be launched without any problems on most Windows versions. When running the 10 Mb setup kit, you will only have to agree to the terms and conditions, set a destination path and click the Install button.
Using DJ ToneXpress is like navigating through a wizard. Regardless of what you want to create (ringtones, wallpapers, etc), you will be guided with detailed instructions all the way. You can select a wizard by clicking one of the navigation buttons on the left side of the interface. The options will be displayed on the main area on the right and they all work the same way.
Most of the wizards will guide you through three steps. Firstly, you have to load a file, then edit it and finally, send it to the mobile phone. When creating a ringtone, you can load an audio file by browsing through the folders on your hard drive, import it from the current Winamp playlist or download it from YouTube. These options will be made available in a pop up menu when clicking a Browse button in order to load a file. The editing step is quite simple. Creating a ringtone involves moving and resizing a transparent box over a wave view of the audio track. You can play and adjust the volume of the selection at any time with the options beneath the wave.
During the final step of the wizard, the software will upload the media to the mobile phone via cable, or you can choose to send it via Bluetooth by clicking a hyperlink. Options related to the Bluetooth uploader can be found in a different section of the interface, which can also be accessed with a navigation button, on the left side of the window. Besides the Bluetooth uploader, you can also find a feature for sending SMS messages or sharing your media on social networks.
Pros:
Creating a ringtone or other media and uploading to a mobile phone is a straightforward process. Although the interface itself makes it easy, step by step instructions will be displayed at all times.
Cons:
Some social networks like Facebook are not available in the Social Networks widget.
